We all create differently. That's exactly the point.

About half of our staff and participants are neurodivergent, on the autism spectrum, or part of the special needs community. Our classes are built to be accessible for everyone.

Common questions

Do I need to know how to draw or write?

No. Anyone can create using our digital tools. If you already draw or write, bring it along.

Do I need experience with technology or AI?

No. Our team guides you throughout. Come with an open mind and be ready to try some new tools.

Does a parent or support person need to attend?

For online sessions, participants under 16 need an adult present. For the Digital Storytelling Lab, participants under 18 are joined by a parent, guardian or support person on Zoom.

Is this only for people with disabilities?

No. Classes are open to all ages and designed to support many different ways of learning, communicating and creating.

Can OPWDD self-directed funding be used?

Yes, when it is approved through the participant's plan and Fiscal Intermediary. Our team can help coordinate the process.

Who owns what I make?

You do. Anything created in a class belongs to the participant.
